Their commercials. Bigger fan of them than their products.
I know we've all seen those gems, but here are some of the best again.
And now they have the Ron Burgandy Durango series

Kind of sad that their advertising is my favorite thing about the Chrysler umbrella, but congrats to them and their ad agencies.

My favorite thing about Chrysler's is plastic.
I friggen love plastic! Plasticize all the things!! Except for the seats: I want leather for that. And that's why a bought a Durago! And also because of that new spokesman, he's very convincing.

Well I like their products .... because they actually go for design. But I too also love their commercials.

My favorite is the commercial with George Washington driving the Challenger. It's hilarious.

That was the independence day sale right? And yea, I agree, that one is golden too.

Well a company that makes the Wrangler, Ram, Dart, Charger, Viper & the Grand Cherokee, is doing doing something right IMO. You can tell car enthusiasts work there.

With that said, Wrangler has basically gone unchanged since ever, Ram IMO is too 'cartoon' (Viper influence?), Dart looks ok for a small car but I hear it isn't all it's cracked up to be (story of Chrysler's life?), Cherokee is the most controversial redesign of the year (yea that includes the Vette tail lights), Viper is a bit of a sales projection flop so far (though it does look good), Charger looks good
And unmentioned, the Challenger. I'm a Camaro fan, but I do think the Challenger is the absolute best retro interpretation amongst the 3 (Camaro-Mustang-Challenger), it's just heavy and doesn't elicit any excitement for me.
I wouldn't say ChryCo is any further ahead of the curve in terms of design.. That is, unless I was a Mopar fan ;)

Really any design talk is completely opinion based. But the fact that the wrangler is the only thing in the car industry unchanged for the better says something. The Ram is 100x cleaner than WhateverTheHell Ford is doing with the F-250 (the grill that found a truck).
The Cherokee is at least trying, which can't be said for any other big 3 SUV really .... Okay the Explorer looks good (but I'd rather have the engine turned 90 degrees, see Durango). The Viper is 100% sex, which I can't say for the anything besides the front clip on the Corvette.
But I'll agree, the Challenger is fat, I'm not really into a muscle car right now and am excited for them all to lose weight for their next gens.
IDK, I guess I'm biased because I know some of the Designers in Chrysler from school (transportation design) and they all are gear heads. The Jeep designers actually all go on a week long vacation driving through Canada's off road areas once a year.
The GM teachers? Stress package hard points, and production feasibility until no end. Which is what you would expect.
